HANDICAP ADJUSTMENT CRITERIA (for 2022 season)
Competition Standard Scratch Score CSS

The total points scored by all players on the day of any event is divided by the number of players submitting a score card. The lowest scoring player will be removed to attain a good average. This number becomes the CSS.

Players handicaps score 0.2 per shot over and under the CSS accordingly, giving each players handicap for the next game.

To level out the handicaps, scores will be rounded down with a 0.1 to 0.4 at the end and rounded up with a 0.5 to 0.9 at the end. So 19.4 becomes 19 for the next game and let’s say 19.8 becomes 20 for the next game. This keeps it clean for ease of scoring. There is no additional penalty for 1st 2nd or 3rd place.

Maximum handicap will be 28
