Our society doesn't stand too much on ceremony and as such we don't see the need for a lot of committee members to meet regularly and talk a lot of drivel - no we are quite content to leave the running of things to the Secretary and Treasurer - after all, they have been doing this for years and no one has ever complained - in fact if it wasn't for them we probably wouldn't have a society at all!
Now just to make them feel important the Captain and Vice-Captain are usually given places on the committee although why is anybody's guess as they never seem to do anything of importance - except of course fork out for prizes on Captain's day for which we are all extremely grateful!
The committee meets as often as is necessary, which is not too often. No one can remember when the last meeting was held so don't go looking for the minutes of our meetings - you won't find them!

By the way that's them pictured above! Needless to say, none of this motley bunch were elected to such high office because of their administrative skills, charisma, or indeed their golfing abilities but simply because they were among the few that turned up at our Annual General Meeting.
