18-hole Individual Stableford Competition

Congratulations to the eight members who turned up at this 'wee gem of a course
(as Norman McMichael aptly calls it ) to participate in our first event of the 2023 season. The course provided a decent challenge and the warm weather provided perfect conditions for playing golf.

In second position with a score of 36 points was the ever-consistent Joe Connor. Playing off a 15 handicap Joe however could only muster 16 points on the back nine but this was sufficient to nudge 19 handicapper Gilbert Fallows into third place by virtue of a better back nine.

As for the rest of the field the less said the better - most of them did their best but it just wasn't good enough on the day!

However, none went home dejected. After all, we only play for a bit of craic!
